When Traci Ring, M.S., F.A.A.A., an audiologist with Associated Audiologists, Inc., joined the practice a little more than a decade ago, many of her patients were in their 70s and older. Today, she is seeing that pattern shift.

“A couple of factors appear to be influencing who is seeking help for hearing loss now,” Traci says. “A wider range of treatment options are available to meet each patient’s unique communication needs. These new products are effective, comfortable and cosmetically appealing. Additionally, people are staying in the workforce longer. For these reasons, many people are now choosing to pursue assistance with their hearing loss in their 40s, 50s and 60s. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages and find fulfillment in partnering with them to determine the most appropriate treatment option.”

Traci practices at Associated Audiologists’ office on the campus of Shawnee Mission Medical Center. “I am dedicated to providing hearing healthcare education to my patients, their families and significant others.”

Traci also is involved with the Olathe Santa Fe Trail Chapter of Rotary International. She resides in Olathe with her husband, Jeremy, and son, Brennan. The family enjoys spending time together outdoors, swimming, biking and playing baseball.
