With all the “noise” in the marketplace, it’s tough to know who to trust with your hearing health, but there’s only one Associated Audiologists. We pride ourselves on helping our patients hear their best, taking the time to meet with each patient and family, establishing a relationship, providing personalized recommendations, and offering outstanding and convenient service. Let’s review some other numbers that add up to make Associated Audiologists one of the region’s top audiology practices.
Eight Top-Notch Clinics
Associated Audiologists has eight top-notch clinics conveniently located in Overland Park, Prairie Village, Shawnee Mission, Lawrence, Manhattan and Leavenworth in Kansas; and in Kansas City and Independence in Missouri.
Associated Audiologists is independent and locally-owned and each clinic offers a full range of services including comprehensive assessments for hearing loss, tinnitus, and dizziness/balance, as well hearing aid fitting, adjustments and maintenance. We also offer wax (cerumen) removal.
As an independent practice, we offer the widest selection of hearing aid technology and products from the world’s most respected hearing aid manufacturers. By working with well-accepted manufacturers, patients can have their hearing aids serviced almost anywhere.
Some of these manufacturers include: Widex, ReSound, Phonak, Lyric, Starkey, Signia, Unitron, Oticon, and Westone.
We also are one of an estimated 20 to 30 percent of hearing-related businesses in the nation to use state-of-the-art real-ear technology to verify that each patient’s hearing aids are fit according to recommended prescriptions for proper hearing and safety.
Plus, the practice has a unique loaner program available in the event a patient’s hearing aid needs to be sent to the manufacturer for repair. We also offer Monday through Friday “Urgent Ear” hours for emergent problems or for same-day repairs, along with manufacturer repairs when necessary. Curbside care and after-hours drop boxes also are available at our clinics.

15 Doctoral-Level Audiologists
Associated Audiologists features a staff of 15 doctoral-level audiologists. Our audiologists regularly attend continuing education events/training opportunities to stay current on the latest technology and treatment options.
Some of our audiologists specialize in hearing loss, tinnitus or dizziness and balance disorders. We work as a team to manage care for patients with more than one of these challenges.
Our audiologists also subscribe to the “best practices” put forth by professional organizations, including the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Check our team out here.
More Insurance Plans
Associated Audiologists works with more insurance plans than most other private practices in the region. These plans include Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United HealthCare, TriCare, Humana, Aetna/Coventry, Cigna and most Medicare replacement plans.
Our staff members know the right questions to ask in order to find out whether the patient has coverage, and how to maximize benefits. We help verify what options and determine financial responsibility.
We also offer special private-pay pricing to match plan benefits when out-of-network, depending upon the health plan, and have an option for almost every situation.

1,000+ Reviews!
What does all this add up to? More than 1,000 five-star reviews! These reviews are from patients who provide us with feedback to help us improve our practices and processes. Patient reviews also help prospective patients learn more about who we are and how our patients think we did during their appointment.
In addition, probably one of the most important statistics to us is that 98 percent of our patients say they would refer a friend or family member to us.
Before buying hearing aids anywhere else, you owe it to yourself to see if Associated Audiologists adds up for you.
