Audiologist and Hearing Aid Program Director
Dr. Battani serves as the practice’s Hearing Aid Program Director and specializes in hearing aid technology. Prior to joining Associated Audiologists, Dr. Battani served as the regional sales manager for Widex USA, Inc., a hearing aid manufacturer. Dr. Battani has also worked as an audiologist with CIGNA Healthcare of Arizona. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Central Michigan University/Vanderbilt University and performed a fellowship with the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. She received her Master’s and Bachelor of Arts degrees in audiology from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Dr. Battani has been a regular speaker at area conventions and conferences.
Dr. Battani is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA), holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a member of the Kansas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (KSHA). She served as secretary of the Kansas City Society of Audiology and is also active in the community through her participation as a director in the Shawnee Mission Rotary.
