Although Dr. Steele no longer provides direct clinical care, his time is devoted to his leadership role within the practice. He earned his Master’s degree and Doctorate of Philosophy in Audiology degree from the University of Kansas.

Dr. Steele has served on the board of directors of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology; co-authored a book chapter with Jack Katz, PhD, on “Introduction to Aural Rehabilitation” for the textbook Handbook for Clinical Audiology, third edition by Raymond Hull; and was named a 2017 Hero in Healthcare by Ingram’s magazine.

Dr. Steele is a member of the Overland Park Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow; he is active in his local church; and serves on the board of directors for The Hub-Argentine. His wife, Julie, is Director of Operations for the practice. They enjoy experiencing new things with their four children, who range in age from teens to twenties. Dr. Steele grew up on a farm north of Manhattan, Kansas. He enjoys restoration projects, working outdoors, and history.
